HUMAINN (pronounced "Humane"): A New Model of Innovation
BrainSwarming is part of a new model of innovation called HUMAINN (HUman MAchine INNovation), which tailors a specific Human-Machine interaction that leverages the strengths of both humans and machines and helps each partner counter the weaknesses of the other.

This approach solves two challenges simultaneously.

First, BrainSwarming is a serious alternative to brainstorming. BrainSwarming can be conducted in person or, more importantly, remotely when people are dispersed and co-located.

Second, BrainSwarming is a serious alternative to Artificial Intelligence, in which the machine attempts to problem solve and innovate in isolation.

BrainSwarming's structured problem solving graph and universal problem solving grammar are both human- and machine-friendly. The graph and grammar permit groups of humans to easily work together. The graph and grammar also permit the machine to complement human weaknesses to innovation: functional fixedness, design fixation, assumption blindness, narrow verb associations, and analogy blindness.

The result of this human-machine synergy is a significant increase in innovation that neither humans nor machines can achieve on their own.

Join the HUMAINN movement that combines the best of both human and machine innovation.
